Our Republican leaders in Arizona and in especially in Maricopa County have been absent throughout this public health and economic crisis.
Don’t take my word for it. It shows, quite clearly, in the data. The death count has risen drastically all due to the lack of leadership.
The lack of leadership extends from the Governor’s office to the County Assessor’s office where Eddie Cook sat idly by as taxpayers’ chances for appeals evaporated without any hope of an extension.
This is merely a continuation of the crisis of leadership that brought human trafficking to the door of the Assessor’s office. Paul Peterson has had his day in court but how long are we going to stand by and let this lack of leadership poison our State and our County?
